I am so happy to be a part of this; my puppet Angel is on page three of Topless Robot's account of the chaos that ensued from last week's Fan Fiction Friday. People more clever than I have posted a great many really funny ones. I really hope it does catch on. It's pretty brilliant.

Oh, and TR's Rob and all of us who contributed have been threatened with banishment from bb's furry porn website. I'm weeping. No really.

It's beautiful, haunting, very unique, and just amazingly animated, a great piece (though a bit scary for the younger set). I just fell in love with all the little stitchpunks and would snoodle them all if I had the chance. However, it was not perfect.

Despite that, I could watch it again and again (and intend to). It is the most visually arresting film I've seen since "Watchmen", and the stitchpunks so incredibly endearing that even the least likable of them is still sympathetic. It's kept me thinking for a couple days now.

I saw it in New Hampshire, while visiting with my friend, I have a few pics from the posh hotel where we stayed for her conference. Very nice, indeed. I'll see if I can get some of those uploaded soon. I'm still a little tired from the trip: too much fun isn't always that good for you, I think.

So my sister and brother-in-law came to visit this week, and as usual I was stuffed with food and run ragged the entire time. But it was a lot of fun.

So all in all, yeah, a good visit. Of course, I came home to find I had no hot water, and we have now discovered a massive crack on the front plate of the furnace so...um...yeah, that thing is dead. Forever. Fuck.

The good part: it broke down in August, not February, so I really can't complain too loudly.

It's very warm now. I'll enjoy it while it's here. But I'm tired of complaining. I want to be happy any time, whether its hot and muggy or cold and snowy.
